Joint Operations in Tower of Fantasy scale from cheesecake to brutal. Here's the optimal team comp for each difficulty level.

For Extreme and Hell modes, you need a balanced team:
Joint Ops Role Responsibilities
Tank:
- Keep boss facing away from party (30% damage reduction)
- Use shield weapons to survive big hits
- NEVER move the boss into a corner (makes AoE dodging impossible)
Healer:
- Cobalt-B (weapon skill) or Zero (healing domain)
- Keep Blessing on the tank at all times
- Don't chase DPS players who run from heals (it's their fault)
DPS:
- Break boss shields during yellow bar phase
- Stand behind the boss (more crit chance from behind)
- Don't DURING red/yellow attack indicators (learn boss tells)
SEA server matchmaking: In the SEA server, most Joint Ops on Extreme+ difficulty are done through the Looking For Group channel, not auto-match. Auto-match in the SEA server throws together random teams with sub-60k CS on Hell difficulty -- it's a disaster. Use the SEA ToF community Discord to find pre-made teams. A good team can clear Hell in 12 minutes; auto-match groups take 30+ minutes and often fail at the last boss.
