Playing Impostor in Among Us well is about manipulation, not killing. Here's the strategy that wins 90% of your impostor games.
| Priority | Target | Why |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | The player who called the last meeting | They're the self-appointed detective |
| 2 | The player who keeps following you | They're suspicious of you |
| 3 | The engineer/scientist | They can confirm or sabotage your kills |
| 4 | The player doing a visual task | They're too useful alive |
| 5 | The quietest player | They're observing everything |
This is CRITICAL for 2-impostor games:
Impostor Sabotage Priority
1. Lights (causes maximum chaos -- always #1)
2. Reactor/O2 (forces splits -- best for isolating kills)
3. Comms (hides your kills from admin table)
4. Doors (trap someone alone with you)
5. Seismic (least useful -- long cooldown)
6. NEVER sabotage the same thing twice in a row
SEA server meta: Among Us is huge in the Philippines and Indonesia. The playstyle in SEA servers is more chaotic -- fewer logical deductions, more vibe-based voting. As an impostor, lean into this: fake-vote aggressively, accuse random people, laugh in chat. In logical servers (EU/NA/competitive lobbies), this ruins you. But in SEA casual lobbies, the loudest player wins. Adapt to the lobby culture within the first meeting and match your impostor play to their expectations.
